The island's capital, Antiparos, is built around the original nucleus
of the medieval castle, erected by
the Venetians. On the hill of Agios Ioannis, on the west side of
the island, is the famous Antiparos Cave
with its rich stalagmite ans stalactite decoration. An
Archaological settlement has been found on the islet of Despotikon.

The sea around the island is shallow and there are sandy beaches
with sparkling clear water- Molos, Sifnakos
Yalos, Diapori, Soros.. Around Antiparos, you can find many
uninhabitated islets, ideal for fishing and exploring (Despotikon,
Kokkinos Tourlos, Mavros Tourlos...)
